Behrooz is a technology executive and investor, taking on numerous operational, executive, and board director roles throughout his career. In the last decade he has invested, or has served as an officer and board member of a number of private and public companies, several of which have been acquired, creating over six billion dollars of cumulative value for investors.  Behrooz is currently a strategic advisor to TDK, as well as board member and advisor to several private companies and non-profits such as University foundations. Previously, he was CEO and President of InvenSense, Inc. (NYSE: INVN), a world leading provider of sensors, which was acquired by TDK Corporation in 2017, where Behrooz served as the CEO of the InvenSense subsidiary until 2020. Prior to InvenSense, Behrooz was Executive Vice President and General Manager at NetLogic Microsystems (Nasdaq: NETL), a semiconductor solution provider to data centers, acquired by Broadcom in 2011. Before that, he was the President and CEO of RMI Corporation, a computing and communication processor company, which he merged with NetLogic in 2009.

Prior to running RMI, Behrooz served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of CDMA Technologies at Qualcomm, Inc., a provider of wireless technology and services. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Behrooz held several operational and engineering, as well as executive positions, within Motorola Semiconductor’s wireless group, where he contributed to the early growth of mobile phones. During this time, he developed and introduced numerous semiconductor technologies, earning him Motorola’s Distinguished Innovator Award. Behrooz holds a BSEE from Montana State University, and a MSEE from Georgia Institute of Technology. He also holds over 20 patents in semiconductor circuits, systems, software, and sensors.

Stefano is a veteran in complex mixed-signal chip design. Prior to founding Chronos Tech, Stefano covered several technical leadership positions in the industry both as Director of Engineering as well as Lead Architect. 

Stefano brings expertise in the area of high-speed design, advanced SerDes, low-power techniques, DSP and adaptation algorithms, FinFET technology, top down methodology and asynchronous techniques; with depth ranging from architectural investigation to final product and IP tuning and optimization. Stefano has a Laurea Doctorate degree in Electronics Engineering, and a Master in Business Administration. He holds over 30 US patents in the area of high-speed interconnect, asynchronous design and computer architectures.
